Cow Farts

I found this info on Mark Batterson's blog, it was good stuff so I thought I would pass it on.

You can read the article he got it from here.

According to a United Nations Report, cow "emissions" are the greatest threat to the environment.

The 400-page report by the Food and Agricultural Organization, Livestock's Long Shadow, says that the world's 1.5 billion cattle are responsible for 18 per cent of the greenhouse gases that cause global warming. That is more than cars, planes and all other forms of transport put together.

Cow farts account for 9% of all carbon dioxide emissions. Their "wind" and manure account for more than 33% of methane. And their farts produce 100 other polluting gases including ammonia, one of the major causes of acid rain.

One more random cow fact: a cow drinks 990 litres of water to produce one litre of milk!

Looking for a picture to put on this post I found this article that talks about a tax on cow farts. I can't make this stuff up. Cow fart Tax

There are a couple of people that I would like to tax their "emissions"

Ever wondered where the red sea is that is talked about in the Bible. Or some other random place.

Now all you have to do is go to Biblemap.org. This site combines the Bible and Google maps.

So as you are reading the Bible and a place is referenced, you can click on it and see a satellite image of it.

Sometimes if you zoom in you can even see the airports that they must have used to travel in the biblical times.

Tighter, Stronger, more tone abs

Am I the only sucker who would think about paying big bucks to have flat abs, if all i had to do was sit there and let it work.

They say this is not like the old ab belts that you might have seen. This one is the only ab belt cleared for sale by the FDA.

All you do is put it on, and the three gel pads basically shock you and make your ab muscles contract.

It costs about $120 from the home shopping network.

If someone gets it to try it out, let me know if it works.
